Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately, we do not offer orthodontic treatment in our Tamworth, NSW dental surgery. We have built close relationships with some of the best orthodontists available, however, so we are always happy to refer our patients to these qualified professionals.

If you are an adult seeking to straighten misaligned teeth, you might want to consider veneers. This cosmetic dentistry treatment covers up a multitude of flaws with teeth, including gapped, overlapped and misaligned teeth.

Rather than undergo orthodontic treatment that can take many months or even years to complete, you can get veneers placed in just a couple of dental appointments.

At your first appointment, we’ll talk to you about the goals for your smile and determine the proper size and style of veneers that complement your mouth and facial structure. We will need to remove a small amount of the tooth enamel in order to make room for the veneers, so it’s important to note that this is a permanent cosmetic change.

Once your veneers have been fabricated at the lab, we’ll bring you back in so we can place them. These translucent, wafer-thin shells mimic the look of your natural teeth, giving you a stunning smile that is beautifully straight and white.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
